For around EUR 110, Realme offers a phone with a 7000 mAh battery that shrugs off water and drops. Is it the budget pick to beat?
Realme C100i — a budget phone with a standout battery
The Realme C100i was announced on 30 April 2026 and went on sale on 7 May. It is one of the most affordable phones Realme sells, with a guide price of around 110 euros. Yet for that money Realme includes something even pricier models cannot match: a 7000 mAh battery.
A battery that lasts two days
The biggest draw of the C100i is its 7000 mAh cell — considerably more than the 5000 mAh found in most phones. In practice that means two days away from the charger, even with heavy use. Charging is 15W wired, with USB Power Delivery and Quick Charge support, and the phone can also charge other devices in reverse.
Display and performance
The C100i has a 6.8-inch IPS LCD with a 720 × 1570 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A high refresh rate at this price is a pleasant surprise, and scrolling looks smooth. The resolution is only HD+, though, so the image is not especially sharp.
Performance comes from a Unisoc T7250 (12nm) chip with Mali-G57 graphics. This is an everyday-tasks processor — fine for calls, social media, browsing and video, but not enough for demanding games. Memory options are 64GB with 4GB RAM and 128GB, plus a microSD slot.
Durability and daily use
Despite the low price, the C100i meets the IP64 standard (protection against dust and splashes) and the military MIL-STD-810H durability standard; Realme says it survives a 2-metre drop. The frame is plastic, it weighs 208g and is 8.4mm thick. Colours are Dawn Purple and Dusk Gray.
The cameras are modest: an 8MP main sensor (f/2.0, with autofocus) and a 5MP front camera. Photos are fine for social media, but do not expect miracles. The phone ships with the new Android 16.
Who is it for?
The Realme C100i is aimed at buyers who value long battery life and reliability above all, for the lowest price: a first phone for a child, a backup device, or a phone for older users. If you want a strong camera or gaming performance, look at pricier smartphones. And if you are curious about the full Realme range, browse Realme phones.
